The AHK Myanmar Team visited Ho Chi Minh City from 30 May to 2 June 2023. During the visit, the AHK Myanmar Team met with their counterparts from AHK Vietnam Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi.
The visit was a highly productive, allowing us to gain a comprehensive understanding of AHK Vietnam's activities and facilitating the exchange of valuable information between AHK Vietnam and AHK Myanmar. We extend our gratitude to Marko and his team for the invitation and for organizing such an engaging program.
The visit also coincides with the recent appointment of Marko Walde, Chief Representative of AHK Vietnam as the new Chief Representative of the German Delegation of Industry and Commerce Offices in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar effective from 1st May 2023. The four countries together constitute a sub-region which will hereafter be referred to as “CLMV”. The AHK CLMV Sub-region will continue to promote, support, and represent German business interests while at the same time foster regional economic integration to ensure stability and prosperity of the region.
